A conversation
one: It is what it is
two: Sometimes that phrase is fitting. Other times I want to strangle you
one: Why would you want to strangle me
two: Now would be one of those times
That phrase ”it is what it is”
Not always the answer
Especially when you are hurt
one: There's nothing immediately to be done with it. That's what it means. I've spent too much time thinking about things in terms of how I want them to be, and not enough in terms of how they are
At a certain point, I have to bring my head out of the clouds
two: Oh...
one: That's what that phrase means for me
two: I see
one: I keep ending up with the same thing
I've tried giving love in hopes of receiving some back
I don't even ask for a whole lot
I just, for once, want to come out on the other side of that choice
two: You will....one day
one: I really want to believe that someone else will see the worth in me that I see in myself
I really want to believe that this 'choice' is, in fact, not simply how the world works
two: You have no idea
one: But I keep failing
two: Keep believing
one: I need someone to see it the 1st time. When I'm actually trying to show them. Not in retrospect like "oh, I miss having that"
It makes me feel.......discarded
And I always see it coming
two: :-(
I'm sorry
one: I've gotten to the point where I can feel when the choice is coming
"Pick me, not him"
And I try to let ppl know. I ask them not to do it. But they do anyway
And then want to come back later. After they've had their fun, their fill. As if 'sorry' is going to change the past
Thing is
justcrashheretonight:
Whoever you are, someone, somewhere has the potential to think themselves in love you
That’s pretty cool.
The “realness” factor of the feeling hardly matters. Just that someone can is pretty cool.
Happy hunting

Usain Bolt vs. 116 years of Olympic sprinters Based on the athletes’ average speeds, if every Olympic medalist raced each other, Usain Bolt (the London version) would win, with a wide distribution of Olympians behind him. Below, where each sprinter would be when Bolt finishes his race.
